I went into The Fabric of Our Souls completely blind but with high expectations, and K.M. Moronova did not disappoint. From the very first chapter, I was captivated by the raw and unfiltered portrayal of mental health. The way the author delves into the human psyche, the struggles of survival, and the complexities of healing made this book an emotional rollercoaster.
The setting of Harlow Sanctum added so much depth to the story. It wasn’t just a backdrop but an integral part of the journey, making the characters’ pain and growth feel even more tangible. The representation of mental health, trauma, and unconventional therapy was handled with care, making the story as heartbreaking as it was thought-provoking.
The last quarter of the book was absolutely intense, my heart was racing, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. While the ending wasn’t what I expected, I understand why it played out that way. It left me with a bittersweet feeling, proving just how powerful the story truly was. K.M. Moronova has once again delivered a book that grips your soul, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an emotionally raw, beautifully written story.
“The Fabric of our Souls is thin and worn. We must be gentle and love tirelessly.”

Wow. This book was unlike anything I’ve ever read. From the very first page, The Fabric of Our Souls had me completely hooked. It was hauntingly beautiful in the best way possible, morbid, yet filled with so much depth and emotion that I felt every moment as if I were experiencing it myself.
The writing was so raw and unfiltered that it made the characters’ struggles feel painfully real. K.M. Moronova doesn’t hold back when exploring mental health, trauma, and the complexities of healing, so I’d strongly recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in.
Liam, Wynn, and Lanston, what a trio. Each of them stole a piece of my heart in different ways, but together, their bond was everything. Their friendship, the way they navigated their pain, and the moments of dark humor that lightened the story made them unforgettable. They were flawed, real, and deeply human, which made their connection even more powerful.
This book will put you through the wringer. It’s intense, emotional, and unapologetically raw, but it’s also one of the most thought-provoking books I’ve read in a long time. Buckle up, this is a story that will stay with you long after you turn the last page.
“I was born with a bad heart—literally and figuratively. But you gave your heart to me, and because of you, I will live. Because of you, I will never take my life for granted ever again.”

The Fabric of Our Souls was my first book by K.M. Moronova, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Right from the start, I was drawn in by the powerful writing and complex characters. This isn’t just a story, it’s an experience, one that keeps you thinking and feeling long after it’s over.
What stood out to me the most was the dynamic between the characters. The relationships in this book, especially the bond between Liam, Wynn, and Lanston, were beautifully written and added so much emotional depth. Their connection felt so real, sometimes uplifting, sometimes heartbreaking, but always compelling.
I also loved the mystery element woven into the story. The way the plot slowly unraveled had me on edge, and by the time the final twist hit, I was completely blown away. I didn’t expect to feel so anxious while reading, but this book kept me on my toes from start to finish.
This book truly has everything, deep emotional themes, an engaging plot, unforgettable characters, and a writing style that keeps you hooked. If you’re looking for a book that will challenge your emotions and leave you breathless, The Fabric of Our Souls is a must-read. I can’t wait to pick up more from this author!
“You should wait… and it doesn’t have to be for anything specific. I’m just saying—wait for the weight of the world to pass. Wait until the tremors that wrack through your skull drift into the depths again. Wait until the sun rises, and the light makes you feel a little less pointless.”
