Little Liar by Leigh Rivers had me hooked from start to finish—I nearly devoured it in one sitting! At first, I was unsure about the first half being a retelling of events from Malachi’s POV, but it turned out to be a brilliant choice. Gaining insight into his perspective offered me a deeper understanding of his character and his obsession with Olivia, which was both intense and surprisingly sweet. The connection between them was palpable, and I found myself rooting for their relationship, even when Olivia’s decisions occasionally frustrated me.

The emotional depth in this story is what truly sets it apart. Despite the ups and downs, I wholeheartedly believe they are endgame. If you love dark romance filled with layered characters and strong emotions, Little Liar won’t disappoint. The author has a unique talent for making the reader feel every twist and turn in the relationship, making for an unforgettable reading experience.

“I love you more than everything: It shouldn’t have taken me losing you to realize that. I should’ve chosen you.”

I started Little Liar the moment I finished Little Stranger, and honestly, words can hardly capture how incredible this duet is. Leigh Rivers has truly outdone herself once again—her ability to craft complex characters and take readers on a profound emotional journey is simply unmatched. Malachi, in my eyes, can do no wrong. His perspective in the first book left me utterly shattered, revealing the depths of his mind in ways that were both heartbreaking and fascinating.

Don’t let the book's size fool you—it's packed with action and emotion. So much happens within these pages, and the plot unfolds in ways that left me absolutely speechless. The journey between Olivia and Malachi is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Plus, I was thrilled to see surprise characters from the Edge of Darkness trilogy make an appearance. My heart wasn’t prepared for the return of Base, Tobias, and even Kade. Their presence added an extra layer of excitement and nostalgia that enriched the story.

The epilogue perfectly sets up Tobias's upcoming books, and I’m already counting down the days until 2025—it’s easily my most anticipated read of the year. What a duet, what characters, and what an author.

From now on, every time I see a spider, I’ll think of Malachi!

“Those voices are calling me a little liar while a devil chuckles on my shoulder. I’m a sneaky prick, and I don’t care.”

Little Liar is an intense read that left me breathless. The dark themes are compelling, and I truly appreciated how Leigh Rivers seamlessly wove in familiar faces from The Edge of Darkness. This connection added depth and made the story even more engaging. The intertwining of characters not only enhanced the narrative but also gave readers a sense of continuity and familiarity that was incredibly satisfying.

The exploration of complex emotions and the moral gray areas in this book are what make it stand out. I highly recommend Little Liar for anyone looking for a gripping and immersive read. It’s a journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat, making it a must-read for fans of dark romance!

“If someone found a way to remove you from existence, I would burn the world before making sure my soul found yours in the afterlife.”
