I loved It Ends With Us when I first read it a few years ago, and it left a lasting impact on me. It was an emotional rollercoaster, and I was completely engrossed in Lily’s journey, her strength, resilience, and the incredibly difficult choices she had to make. At the time, I rated it a solid 5 stars, though I wonder if reading it now, with a different perspective, would change that. Regardless, I was truly shocked by the turn of events with Ryle and Lily, as the story unfolded in a way I didn’t expect. Colleen Hoover did an incredible job portraying the complexities of love, trauma, and breaking cycles. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how the movie brings this story to life, though I’m a bit unsure about the casting choices. Either way, I can’t wait to experience this story all over again.

If I could rate this book a thousand stars, I absolutely would. It Ends With Us was the very first romance book I ever read, and it’s the reason I fell in love with the genre. It completely captivated me from start to finish, making me fall in love with its characters before breaking my heart into pieces. Lily’s journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring, and the way Colleen Hoover writes about love, pain, and difficult decisions is incredibly powerful. Ryle was such a complex character, his charm, his flaws, and his darkness were written in a way that felt so real. And then there was Atlas, who brought hope and warmth when Lily needed it most. This book changed the way I look at love stories, and it’s one I will always recommend. I’m beyond excited for the movie and can’t wait to see this incredible story come to life on screen!
“It stops here. With me and you. It ends with us.”

The relationship between Lily and Ryle started off so beautifully, which made the later turn of events even more shocking and heartbreaking. Watching Lily navigate such a painful, complicated situation while rediscovering her connection with Atlas made this book an unforgettable read for me. Colleen Hoover’s writing made every moment feel raw and real, and I still think about this story long after finishing it. It’s a book that stays with you, and I can’t wait to see how the movie adaptation captures its emotion and impact.
“He pulls back to look down at me and when he sees my tears, he brings his hands up to my cheeks. “In the future... if by some miracle you ever find yourself in the position to fall in love again... fall in love with me.”
