Wow, wow, wow. I went into this book completely blind, and I couldn't be happier that I did. I had no idea what to expect, and I was so surprised by how much I loved it. I devoured it in less than 24 hours; it was that captivating. Kade and Stacey quickly became some of my favourite characters. The way the story alternated between current and past timelines was masterfully done. Kade's past absolutely melted my heart; his pure innocence made me fall in love with him even more. The multiple storylines compelled me right from the very first chapter, keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Every chapter revealed new layers to the characters and their relationships, making it impossible to put the book down. The emotional depth and complexity of Kade and Stacey's relationship were beautifully portrayed, making their connection feel incredibly real and heartfelt. The way the author wove together the past and present added a rich, textured layer to the narrative that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The cliffhanger at the end had me running to open the next book. I needed to know what happened next and couldn't wait to dive back into this world. The blend of romance, tension, and mystery was perfect, making this book an absolute page-turner. This book has set the bar high, and I am excited for more!

I want a voice, but I have no idea how to use it or how I’d stop his wrath if I did.

My first book from Leigh Rivers and definitely not my last! This book is an unbelievable start to the Edge of Darkness trilogy. I'm completely obsessed with Kade—he’s so much more than your typical morally grey MMC. His obsession with Stacey is on another level! The book features some of my favourite tropes: enemies to lovers, forced proximity, forbidden romance, and one bed. There’s so much happening, and the plot just keeps thickening. I loved all the teenage flashbacks and am so intrigued about where it’s all leading. Kade Mitchell, you’re officially my book husband now. Obsessed is an absolute understatement.

Losing your voice to everyone is one thing, but losing your voice to someone you loved – trusted – is ten million times worse. I’ve never been heard.”

Insatiable drew me in right from the very beginning. The plot was incredibly engaging, and each character contributed meaningfully to the story, adding depth and intrigue. The way the book seamlessly blended past and present events kept me captivated and eager to uncover its mysteries.

The chemistry between Kade and Stacey was fantastic; their connection felt genuine and intense, making them seem like perfect partners. The author did an excellent job of building their relationship and developing their characters throughout the story.

Overall, I highly recommend "Insatiable." It has been one of my top reads this year, and I can't wait to explore more books by this author. If you're looking for a captivating story with well-developed characters and a perfect blend of past and present events, this book is definitely for you.

Be patient with me,” is all I say before I capture her lips with mine.
