God Of Fury By Rina Kent

God Of Fury by Rina Kent - Book 4 in the Legacy of Gods series.
Tropes: Mafia prince x golden boy, MM romance, grumpy x scary sunshine, opposites attract, gay awakening, obsession, push and pull dynamic, morally grey MMC, forced proximity, high angst, banter-heavy chemistry, emotional vulnerability, dark romance.
Summary:
A dark, emotional MM romance that blends mafia danger with vulnerability, this book follows the explosive, magnetic connection between Nikolai Sokolov, a violent mafia heir with zero emotional restraint, and Brandon King, the quiet, golden boy artist who was never meant to be pulled into Nikolai’s orbit.
What begins as an ill-fated collision turns into a push and pull dynamic filled with obsession, banter, emotional depth, and unexpected softness. God of Fury delivers intensity, humour, heartbreak, and healing in equal measure, proving once again why Rina Kent dominates the dark romance genre. Whether this is your first MM romance or you are already obsessed with the genre, this book does not just hit, it changes you.

God of Fury completely stole my heart. This book was raw, chaotic, hilarious, and deeply emotional all at once. Nikolai is unhinged in the best possible way, dangerous and unfiltered, yet somehow incredibly endearing. Brandon is calm, creative, and grounded, making their opposites-attract dynamic addictive to read. The emotional growth between them felt real and earned, and their connection was impossible to ignore from the very first interaction. I laughed, I held my breath, and I felt everything. This story consumed me in a way only Rina Kent can pull off, and it left a permanent mark on my heart.
“He tastes like my own downfall and I’m ready to drown in it.”

Honestly, words still don’t feel big enough to describe how much I loved this book. Five million stars is not an exaggeration. Nikolai Sokolov has officially become my favourite character in the entire Rinaverse. He is unhinged, terrifying, hilarious, and somehow adorable all at once. His inner monologue had me laughing out loud constantly, but beneath the chaos was so much depth and vulnerability that completely wrecked me.
The emotional connection I felt to both characters was intense. Brandon’s quiet strength paired with Nikolai’s explosive presence created something truly special. This book made me feel everything, joy, heartbreak, obsession, and love. God of Fury is hands down one of the most memorable reads I’ve ever experienced.
“I never wanted a prince. I prefer an unhinged motherfucker.” “Hey! That’s me!”

I went into God of Fury excited but nervous, as it was my first MM romance, and it absolutely shattered every expectation I had. From start to finish, this book was perfection. The chemistry and banter between Nikolai and Brandon were electric, and their dynamic had me smiling nonstop. Every interaction felt charged, meaningful, and impossible to look away from.
Nikolai has easily become one of my all-time favourite characters across any genre. His unapologetic intensity paired with Brandon’s calm, artistic soul created a balance that was both beautiful and devastating. This story shocked me, consumed me emotionally, and stayed with me long after I finished reading. After seeing glimpses of them in earlier books, I knew I would be obsessed, but God of Fury still managed to exceed every expectation. This book did not just make me fall in love with these characters, it opened the door to MM romance for me, and nothing I have read since has come close. An absolute masterpiece.
“I love him with my sane and insane parts. He’s my lotus flower. My Prince Charming. The love of my life. Mine.”
