Summary:

Jade once thought she belonged in the world of the Kings, but betrayal changed everything. Branded a traitor and forced to run, she left behind her friends, her family, and the two brothers who once owned her heart. But no one escapes the Kings.

Elliot, the manipulator and Ethan, the quiet, antisocial protector - aren’t ready to let her go. They want revenge, they want control, and they want Jade to pay. As Jade is dragged back into the shadows of the North Shore, she must face not only her darkest secrets but also the two men who are determined to break her in order to claim her.

Dark, addictive, and painfully twisted, Delightful Sins is a why-choose mafia romance that will keep you breathless until the last page.

Going into Delightful Sins, I knew Jade’s story was going to be heavy, but I didn’t expect it to completely consume me. Her journey is layered with guilt, pain, and betrayal, but Lola King writes her in such a raw and vulnerable way that I couldn’t help but root for her. Watching Jade go from someone haunted by her past to someone who learns to reclaim her voice made this one of the most compelling books in the series for me.

And then there’s Elliot and Ethan, two men who couldn’t be more different, yet both equally addictive. Elliot is sharp, manipulative, and thrives on control. Ethan is quiet, brooding, and more complex than he first appears. Together, they created such an intense push-pull dynamic with Jade that every chapter had me hooked.

I also loved how this book gave more insight into the dark, gritty world of the North Shore. The loyalty, the gang politics, the danger, it all added layers that made the romance feel even more high-stakes.

For me, Delightful Sins is proof that Lola King knows how to deliver a story that’s unapologetically dark yet still beautifully emotional. It’s definitely one of my favourites in the series.

“Ease up, Ted Bundy. She’s in a lot of pain.”

🤍 AD -

Every book in this series feels more intense than the last, and Delightful Sins was no exception. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Jade’s book, but this turned out to be one of the most surprising and heartbreaking reads so far.

What stood out to me was the dynamic between Elliot and Ethan. Elliot is cruel and cunning, the kind of man who thrives on manipulation, while Ethan’s quiet strength makes him equally dangerous in a more understated way. They’re unhinged, psychotic, and yet so compelling you can’t look away. The way they orbit Jade—sometimes to protect, sometimes to destroy, made for such a fascinating and addictive read.

Jade herself was a revelation. I didn’t expect to sympathize with her as much as I did, but Lola King really humanized her story. By the end, I didn’t just like her, I wanted to shield her from everything.

This book was dark, twisted, and heartbreaking in the best way. I’m desperate for what’s coming next in the series because I just know it’s going to get even wilder.

“Because he has eyes that resemble an angel and reflect the needs of the devil. Because his hair is the same color as the sun, but what’s inside his head is darker than the night. Because”

💙 AG -

I’ll admit, I went into Delightful Sins a little hesitant. I’m usually not a huge fan of reverse harem stories, and Jade wasn’t my favorite character in the earlier books. But this one honestly surprised me.

From the beginning, I found myself really drawn into Jade’s perspective. Seeing her vulnerability, her regrets, and her complicated history with Elliot and Ethan completely changed the way I saw her. She became one of the most relatable heroines in the series for me.

And as for Elliot and Ethan? Their bond with Jade was messy, chaotic, and strangely beautiful. I loved how the book sometimes gave the illusion that Jade might only end up with one of them, it kept me guessing and made the story feel fresh. While why-choose isn’t usually my thing, I have to say it was written in a way that still felt authentic and believable.

The twists, the pacing, and the emotional depth all kept me hooked. For readers who love darker romance and complex relationships, Delightful Sins is absolutely worth picking up.

“Jade Alva can take anything she desires from me. My heart? Stolen. My sanity? She obliterated it a long time ago. Take my body, my soul, the very base of my existence. Fuck, she doesn’t even have to ask, I’ll hand it all to her. On a silver platter encrusted with diamonds and anything else she wishes.”

Lola King has quickly proven herself a powerhouse in dark romance, and Delightful Sins is proof. This book is a whirlwind of betrayal, obsession, and toxic devotion that will leave you questioning everything. If you love morally grey men, villains who refuse to let go, and a heroine caught between pain and desire, then this book is for you.
