Summary:
In God of Wrath, the third installment of Rina Kent’s Legacy of Gods series, we dive into the twisted world of Jeremy Volkov. What begins as an innocent mistake for Cecily quickly spirals into chaos when she attracts the attention of the Volkov heir, a man who hides a predator’s heart beneath charm and sophistication.
Jeremy is ruthless, manipulative, and utterly relentless in his pursuit. Cecily wants to run, but monsters always chase and Jeremy isn’t letting her go. Dark, intense, and dripping with obsession, God of Wrath is a gripping enemies-to-lovers romance about two people bound together by danger, lust, and a love that tastes like sin.

I was so excited to finally get Jeremy Volkov’s story, and while the first half felt like it dragged a little, the second half made the wait worth it. Once Jeremy and Cecily’s dynamic really took shape, I was hooked.
Jeremy is completely unhinged, just like his dad and I adored every moment of his unpredictable, dangerous presence. He’s cold, intense, and obsessive in a way only Rina Kent can write. I just wish there had been even more drama and one big shocking twist to push it over the edge.
Cecily was a standout for me. She had a quiet strength that made her easy to root for, and I especially loved her moments with her mother, Kimberly. Those interactions added so much heart to balance the darker parts of the story. And of course, the infamous group chats were a highlight, they added humour and depth to the legacy world I already love.
And let me just say: Landon stole the show in this one. His presence added so much intrigue, and now I’m desperate for his book. Overall, God of Wrath was an intense and emotional addition to the series that left me wanting more.
“No matter how far I run or how well I hide, he’ll flip the world upside down just to find me.”

Jeremy Volkov might just be my new favourite Rina Kent hero. I went in expecting dark and obsessive, but he completely exceeded my expectations. He’s brutal and dangerous, yes, but there’s something magnetic about the way he fixates on Cecily that makes it impossible to look away.
Their chemistry was electric from the very beginning. Every stolen glance, every confrontation, it was all so charged with tension and passion. I loved Cecily as his match; she never backed down, and that made their relationship feel even more explosive.
I also really appreciated how this book tied in the larger Legacy of Gods world. The cameos, the group chats, and the nods to Royal Elite made it feel like such a rich, connected universe. And like LD, I have to mention Landon, he added another layer of excitement.
God of Wrath is dark, intense, and addictive, a must-read for anyone who loves morally grey men and unrelenting obsession.
“I resist the urge to stroke the freckles beneath her eyes. The one hundred fifty-three of them. And yes, I counted them.”

God of Wrath pulled me in right from the start. Jeremy Volkov is the perfect dark, unhinged hero, equal parts terrifying and intoxicating. His obsession with Cecily was unsettling, yes, but also completely addictive. He reminded me so much of his father, Adrian, which only made me love him more.
The chemistry between Jeremy and Cecily was off the charts. Every scene between them was filled with tension, danger, and raw passion. Cecily was a fantastic heroine, strong-willed, vulnerable, and unwilling to let Jeremy completely consume her without a fight. Their push-and-pull kept me glued to the page.
The only part I struggled with a little was the group chats, mostly because I hadn’t finished the Royal Elite series beforehand. I definitely recommend reading Royal Elite first so you can fully understand the dynamics and background of the characters.
That said, this book was everything I wanted and more: dark, obsessive, and emotionally gripping. God of Wrath proves once again that Rina Kent is the queen of dark romance.
“I’m not your property, Jeremy. I’m a person.” “My person,” he nearly growls the words.
